The 1st Seven Minutes of Each Day
Listen up…this is your coach speaking. One of the most important daily action steps is that you read your Why Card for the first seven minutes of your day. It is of the highest importance that you spend the first seven minutes of every day reading your Why card. That’s right. When you wake up in the morning, the first thing that you MUST do is read your Why Card. It’s called the “Why Rollover.” Rollover, grab your Why card and read it! Imagine reading your Why Card the first seven minutes of your day instead of picking your cell phone up, checking your email, clicking on TV and watching everything bad that is happening in the world. Isn’t your Why more important to you than those things? Start internalizing your Why. Start meditating on it for seven minutes early in the morning when you get up. This meditation period will set your day on fire! It will add a snap to your step and a smile to your face, because you know your Why. You know why you do what you do every single day and that you will ultimately achieve your Why in life!
Write this down and say it out loud:
“I have decided that I will read my Why Card every morning for the first seven minutes of my day. I will internalize my Why and feel my heart grow full of joy, excitement, determination, and creativity every day because I know my Why!” The Last Thing Every Night
17 Highly-Guarded Strategies to Close Every Sale – Strategy #3: Never Prejudge (2 of 2)

If you prejudge that person before you even begin your business presentation, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Instead, enter the sales presentation saying to yourself, “I will show my product/business the exact same way to everyone with the belief that this person will become a customer of mine long-term.” Once again, you’re walking in with the “Always Be Opening” mind set. I’m opening up a new relationship. I’m not prejudging this potential client, customer, prospect, etc. Your mindset going into it will allow you to do a better presentation, and allow your excitement, enthusiasm, belief, conviction, and commitment to flow through. That’s what people buy! They buy who you are. They physically buy your product, but they were sold on you. If you’re in one-on-one sales or if you’re in network marketing, the potential client buys into you. They have to believe in you. If you walk in with a mindset of “I don’t believe this person has what it takes to invest in this product or service”, then they’re going to feel that. They’ll feel your non-belief. I love walking into some of the snooty shopping areas of Palm Beach in my gym clothes. If the sales person judges me on my clothing and gives me an attitude, then I walk right out the door. I refuse to sow my money into bad ground. In other words, I ain’t giving my money to someone that treats me like garbage. That’s exactly what your potential client will be thinking in their minds too if you prejudge them. Don’t fool yourself to think that they won’t know. They will notice the minute that you walk into the room. They will feel your non-belief in them, and that will dramatically cut your closing ratio down by 80 percent.
As I’m writing this I’m in beat up sneakers, my workout tank top and my workout pants. If you looked at me during the day, you’d walk right by me and say, oh, “Who is he? He doesn’t have a job. Only a loser walks around in the middle afternoon with a hat on and unshaven.”
You are probably smirking right now, because you know that you have prejudged someone that looks exactly like that for your own business. Little do most people know, I can walk around like that in the middle of the afternoon, because I am free to do what I want, when I want and with who I want to do it with. That’s far from being a loser! A prejudging mindset backed up with assumptions will cost you millions.
Allow EVERYONE the opportunity to own and take advantage of your exclusive offer to own your products. Enter every sales presentation with the belief that the person in front of you is your next big sale. I believe everyone has a champion inside them. Remember who I was and where I came from. No one ever prospected me. I had to answer an ad to get involved in network marketing and earn a million dollars. Isn’t that incredible? No one gave me a chance. Don’t you fall into that same trap of judging people. An open mind leads to a bountiful harvest!
Strategy #3 Champion Tip: NEVER prejudge or assume a potential client, a customer or prospect will not be able to afford or need your product.
MASTERMIND TEAM: DO YOU HAVE ONE?

The key to life is to be around the people who will empower you to reach the next level in life! In order to exceed your present reach, you need to be around people who will help you stretch a little farther. The secret to a productive mastermind team is for you to surround yourself with people who you can always learn from. A sign of a very intelligent person is to be smart enough to realize that you need to learn from others who can contribute to your WHY in life.
As you know, my ultimate outcome is to develop the #1 personal development company in the world. Each and every day I strive to immerse myself in material and people who will enable me to achieve our corporate mission.
As you look at your own mission in life, you need to ask yourself a very honest/straightforward question ….“Is my personal development engine in Forward, Neutral or Reverse?” The answer is very simple. All that you need to do is to write down the top 10 people you regularly associate with. As you review the list, realize that you will become an exact duplicate of those 10 people — financially, spiritually, physically and psychologically. Once again, be honest with yourself. If you are not 110% happy about what you see yourself becoming due to your present relationships, you need to take ACTION immediately! Make a decision to develop a mastermind TEAM! Unfortunately, 95% of people will never take the action needed in order to become part of a mastermind team. They will continue to live their lives and wonder WHAT HAPPENED to their LIVES and all of their DREAMS. You need to stop whining and begin working on yourself to become part of a Mastermind Team!
I am proud to say that each and every day I associate with people who are either at my level of enthusiasm, excitement and intelligence or even more so than I am, which is the key to a personally productive mastermind team. You need to be a part of a group of people who make you want to exceed your present reach. Be honest with yourself and know that you need to change your associations in order to achieve your God-given dreams! You will be amazed by the results. Your life will SOAR like an EAGLE to the ends of the earth if you change your associations!
CONQUER YOUR FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING

We all know that being in the public eye is not only a huge part of running a business but also a key aspect to being taken seriously as a professional in Network Marketing, Sales, Corporate Relations, etc. Unfortunately, the fear of public speaking can make or break our success in life.
Conquering the FEAR that most people experience when they speak in front of others is most easily understood in four steps that just happen to coincide with the actual letters in the word itself.
F – Fight/Flight
E – Excitement
A – Adrenaline Rush
R – Rehearse
F – Fight/Flight
A person’s initial response to an unfamiliar situation is either fight or flight. If you choose flight, then you are basically saying, “I’m out of here”. You run from being pulled out of your comfort zone and refuse the idea of change. People that seek success and aren’t afraid of confronting their fears usually make the other choice…FIGHT! They recognize that they are outside of their comfort zone and are willing to face those fears head on. Yes, it is very scary but don’t let fear take control by running away from your dreams!
E – Excitement
When you make the decision to walk in front of an audience and open your heart up to a bunch of strangers, you are excited and eager to forge forward on your journey. The realization of being personally responsible for the initiation of your own dream and acting on that dream is so exciting that it is overwhelming for the human body. So, what happens next?
A – Adrenaline Rush. You made the choice to fight your fear of public speaking, you’re excited about this choice and now your adrenaline begins to rush throughout your entire body. Your knees begin to knock, your hands shake, your skin becomes clammy and worst of all…YOU CAN’T BREATHE! An adrenaline rush will cause you to second guess your choice of fight, but don’t give into those negative emotions.
R – Rehearse. The last and most important step in conquering your fear of public speaking is to rehearse. You must do it over and over and over again until you are comfortable in your new environment, you deliver an outstanding presentation, and you embrace your audience like you’ve known them for years. Rehearsal is the step that will determine the quality of your public speaking.
