It is All About the “WHY”
Yes, you read it right. It is all about the WHY! A strong enough Why will pull you through every situation and will make you a true conqueror and victor in every occasion. It will lift you far above the average. It makes you go where others stop. It pulls you though the swamps of life when others get stuck, lost or drowned.

I can almost hear what many readers are thinking…“Is this it? How can these words bring all the lofty promises you just made? How can it be that simple? This sounds too simple to be true.” I agree that it’s simple, but it’s not too simple to be true. In fact, I’ve learned that most of life’s secrets of success are simple. Too often a false intellectualism makes things too complicated to ever succeed. Yes, it’s simply all about the Why.

The Miracle Inside
You’re Why is your biggest, most significant, result-creating force in life! Goals are great, but a Why separates a goal-setter from a goal-achiever and a person that truly changes people’s lives. Another way of looking at your Why in life is to think of it as your ultimate reason or purpose for living.

Your Why makes all the difference in your life. It separates you from the crowd. A strong Why will not only make you get up in the morning, but it will make you happy, passionate and want to live your life to the fullest! My goal is for you to “Find Your Why.” Discover that driving force inside of you and feed it with the right words, the right people, the right books, the right motivation and the right inspirational messages. If you do that, then the force – your Why – will emerge and drive you to success. Do you realize that you have a miracle inside you? We just have to extract it and enable you to fly. As I say, you’ve got to Find Your WHY and Fly!

Let me tell you my story. At the age of twenty-four, I was working seven days a week, more than twelve hours a day, in my family business, an art gallery. My grandfather, who I truly loved and adored, gave me two of the most powerful values that I still possess today – honesty and hard work.

A FEW WORDS OF APPRECIATION

This week I am going to write about one of the most powerful yet simple “pebbles of action” towards building your mountain of success. This one action step will separate you from the crowd and empower you to develop a network of people, who have a high regard of respect for you. The action is simply using a few words of appreciation. The words “thank you” are simple, but at the same time extremely powerful!

I wrote in a past issue that the difference between ordinary and EXTRAordinary is just a little bit of EXTRA. Well, as I meet people and do business, I always make an extra-effort to say “thank you” by way of e-mail, voicemail or send a card in the mail. People always comment how much they appreciated the “thank you”. In these days of such hectic schedules and people running all over the place and trying to get ahead, sometimes we forget the simplest things in life are the most powerful and rewarding. You need to think to yourself about a time someone sent you a thank you and how much it meant to you. Always remember to “Do unto others as you would have done unto you!”

After you finish a meeting make a note to yourself to send a timely thank-you. Simple actions reap big rewards! I personally like to leave a voicemail message or send an e-mail message with the subject line “Thank You”. Life is a journey and as you progress, the key is to establish a reputation as one who appreciates others. People will always feel comfortable to introduce you to one of their contacts knowing your past pattern has been one of professionalism and respect. You need to realize that your most notable achievements in life will usually be the result of someone introducing you to one of his or her contacts.

From this day forward, always take a little pebble of action in order to build your mountain of success! “Thank you” is a fantastic place to start! I will start the ball rolling by thanking YOU, the readers of this manual. I truly appreciate your time and testimonials about how we have been able to help in your mission in Life.

What Are You Fighting For?

The movie Cinderella Man is about a legendary boxer named Jim Braddock.  One of the biggest scenes in the movie is when Jim is asked, “What are you fighting for?”  He replies, “I fight for milk.”  Why?  Because the Jim was trying to provide for his family during the Great Depression, and he used the money that he earned fighting to buy milk for his children.  Jim wasn’t focus on being a hero to the crowd or the fame that he could possibly earn.  His only focus was to secure a fight that would enable him to provide for his family.  That was his Why!

Now, let me ask you…What are you fighting for?  Is it your family, your business or simply to personally development yourself to prosper in every area of your life?  No matter what your Why in life is, you must FIGHT against the negativity that tries to prevent you from succeeding.  You must also equip yourself like a great warrior that overpowers the enemy.  How?  Simply, immerse yourself with positive, personal development that will radically change your life forever!

Here’s a few techniques that will prepare you for the fight of your life…

Read inspirational books. Throw away the gossip magazines that have absolutely no positive effect on your life. Listen to motivational success CDs that ignite the fire in your heart to achieve your dreams. Turn off the television! No longer allow that garbage to infiltrate your mind and spirit. Instead watch DVDs about people and things that encourage you to be relentless in the pursuit of your Why in life.

Attend events. This is probably one of the most important steps that you can take to prepare you to stand strong against the enemy that is trying to steal your dreams. I’m talking about positive, motivational events not gossip sessions! You want to surround yourself with people that have similar dreams and are willing to fight for them. That’s why I created the Lifestyle Freedom Club for Champions just like you!

Invest in yourself. No, don’t go out and spend thousands of dollars on a brand new sports car or other unnecessary items. That’s a waste not an investment. You must invest not only your finances, but your time and energy in yourself in order to achieve your dreams. Take a good look at where you are wasting your resources. Now, I know some of you reading this are saying, “John, I am scheduled every minute of my day. I don’t waste time!” Here’s a revelation for you…being busy doesn’t mean that you are productive. If you are going to be prepared to give the enemy the fight of his life to protect your dreams, then you better believe enough in yourself to invest not waste your precious resources.

Give! That’s right…it’s that easy. Give to others. Whether you like it or not, you will reap what you sow. If you want to reap a bountiful harvest, then you better sow seeds of greatness in the lives of others. Giving doesn’t have to be about just writing a check to a charity. Sometimes it means so much more to just give your time to someone in need or speak words of encouragement over the life of a person that has been beat up by the world. When you develop the habit of giving, you will notice that your strength and belief in yourself will skyrocket. There’s simply nothing that can stand in your way!

I’ve given you some strategies to prepare for battle. So, let me ask you again…What are you fighting for? If you give up, then what you’re truly fighting for in life must not be that important. Just remember that every single time that you want to quit! Now, put on those boxing gloves and prepare to fight for yourself and your dreams. Go get’em Champion!
