Are you tired of making all of those New Year’s resolutions, and then breaking them on January 2nd? Are you ready to learn how to finally turn your New Year’s resolutions into New Year’s results? The key word here is “new”, because you want to create “new” results. You must analyze your old year that has passed and your future, which means do not think “re-run/replay” instead think about forging forward into the New Year. In order to create “New Year” results, you must decide to analyze, develop and implement.
Spend about 60 minutes of uninterrupted time analyzing the last 12 months of your life. Examine exactly what you did over the last 365 days to create the results that you have now. Don’t worry about these results and don’t complain about them either. Simply analyze them and understand that you are exactly where you are today because of your actions over the past year. That’s right, your actions created your results in 2004. Your actions turned into your decisions that produced the results that your are experiencing.
Now, are you satisfied with your results in from last year? If not, then how do you turn your New Year’s resolutions into results? You must implement NEW action steps. New actions steps will create new decisions that will produce your new results. Analyze what you did every day to develop these new action steps. Look at your business. How large is your business? Have you prospected enough? Have you attended enough seminars? Have you invested enough money into personal self development? Are you a member of the motivational club? Have you taken advantage of all that’s available for you to produce the results that you want?
If you are not happy with your results from last year, then just imagine where you will be at the end of this year if you continue to take the same actions and make the same decisions. It doesn’t matter what kind of resolutions you make if you don’t develop NEW daily action steps.
I challenge you to forget about those New Year’s Resolutions; instead, analyze last year’s results then develop and implement New Daily Actions that will lead to New Decisions and produce New Results for your New Year!
1/96th OF A DAY (Part One)

1/96th of a day…what is that? It means that there are ninety-six (15) minute increments within twenty-four hours. So, 1/96th of a day equals 15 minutes. Now, let me show you how such small fraction of time will change your life.
What goes in, comes out. This is what I consider the major determinant of how your internal spirit affects your whole life. Just 15 minutes a day of feeding this spirit will produce life-altering results. The average American spends two hours a day watching television. There are no positive results or achievements in watching television. If you take just 15 minutes a day to read a book or to listen to a personal development CD, then you will have begun your journey to reaching your next level of personal growth by motivating your spirit. Remember…What goes in, comes out!
Visualize driving down Interstate 95 at 60 miles per hour and turning your steering wheel 1/96th to the left. Will you crash immediately and die? No. But eventually you will hit the guardrail, roll over and end your life. Hence, doing the same thing over and over again on a daily basis means that you have not made a mental decision to change the negativity that is feeding your internal spirit…what’s going in and coming out.
To develop your faith and belief you need to consistently feed your spirit each and every day — all it takes is 1/96th of a day. I personally feed my spirit a minimum of two hours a day in order to sustain myself like a finely-tuned machine.
I challenge you today to make a decision to invest 15 minutes of a day in yourself by reading a book or listening to a motivational tape. These 15 minutes could change your life forever!
FIND YOUR WHY

Let me share 3 questions with you that will help you “Find Your Why”.
1. If you did not have to worry about finances or going to your job on Monday morning, then what would you do?
2. If you had so much money that you had to give it away, what would you do with it? Who would you give it to and why?
3. Do you enjoy life? If so, why? If not, then why not? Remember, your past does not control you! Your future should drive you, because you see yourself successful!
After you develop your “Why” and set your goals, you will encounter obstacles and challenges like that little bird that hit that huge building. If your “Why” is strong enough, then unlike that building you will stand firm against whatever tries to stop you from achieving that goal. You will not be knocked down!
Remember, goals are damaging if you don’t have a foundational “Why” in place. I challenge you today to ask yourself those three questions, develop your “Why” and then set your goals.
FIND YOUR WHY AND FLY CHALLENGE

As many of you have heard me say, you must know your WHY in life (your ultimate purpose) in order to deal with such issues as:
• Why recruit?
• Why deal with traffic in the morning?
• Why come in early and work late?
• Why deal with certain clients?
• Why introduce your business to people on a daily basis?
• Why work and plan over the weekend?
My personal mission statement is “You must be absolutely clear about your goal and be relentless in your pursuit of your “WHY” and reading your WHY card for the first seven minutes upon rising is the secret to cementing your WHY into your heart. In turn, this will direct your actions as you progress through your day. You will begin to see yourself handling some of your challenges a little differently, because you know WHY. You will not be afraid to deal with the challenges as you proceed towards your WHY. An example of a WHY card is:
I will deal with all the challenges of today, because my WHY is to spend more time with my family, provide for my children’s education, have the finances needed to take regular family vacations and be a mentor to my kids. I will be able to donate/tithe a percentage of my earnings to my church or favorite non-profit organization. I am successful entrepreneur and build an ethical, profitable business for me and my family.
I challenge you to re-evaluate where you are today and where you wish to be 5 years from now. Then, decide to take action and write a personal WHY card that you will read daily.
“…write the vision and make it plain on tablets that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end it will not lie.”
You need to accept my challenge and write a WHY card! This step will totally empower your life. I would love to read your WHY card so feel free to e-mail it to me John@ChampionsLiveFree.com.
Just Believe and You Will Achieve

As I read the following stories of world-renowned people who have succeeded to the ultimate
level in their respective fields, I said to myself, “All they had when they started their journey
was belief in themselves because they overcame some major obstacles to succeed.” I am a true
believer in reading success stories to and the inspiration and consistent motivation needed to
achieve your personal WHY in life. As I have written in past issues, you need a mastermind
group around you in order to truly flourish. When I ?rst said that I was going to build an
international business when I was only 26 years old and achieve enormous success, every-
one thought that I had lost my mind but what kept me fueled up was reading stories of other
achievers and how they struggled to reach their achievements. As many of you know, I went on
to ful?ll my dream and now I am building an international personal development business that
will help many people achieve their dreams. The following are stories that I know will help you
realize that all you need to do is BELIEVE in your ultimate outcome and you WILL achieve it!
FAILURES…BUT NOT QUITE
• The teacher of famous opera singer Enrico Caruso said Caruso had no voice at all and
couldn’t sing.
• Eighteen publishers turned down Richard Bach’s 10,000 word story about a soaring
seagull before MacMillan ?nally published it in 1970. By 1975, “Jonothan Livingston Seagull”
had sold more than 7 million copies in the U.S. alone.
• Thomas Edison was thrown out of school in the early grades when the teachers decided he
couldn’t do the work.
•R. H. Macy failed seven times before his store in New York caught on.
•President Harry S. Truman went broke in the men’s clothing store he started.
• When Bob Dylan performed at a high school talent show, his classmates booed him off
the stage.
Now you need to visualize your own story in this article and what will it say? You have the abil-
ity to design your own story RIGHT NOW or you can allow others to tell you what you can do!
Remember, you do not want to be part of the “Should have, would have, IF Club,” which years
from now, you will stop and say to yourself, “I should have, would have, if only I knew, etc.!
You have the keys to succeed in your hands right now. Make a decision today to become a
success story and not just a statistic! You need to be proud of your dreams and you need a
mastermind team to verbally express your mission.
Motivating champions worldwide!
